One of Tim Tebow’s former teammates says he was the worst QB he has ever played with. Is he wrong?

It’s no secret Tim Tebow was a mediocre quarterback with no future in the NFL. Despite his 2011 season, when he won a playoff game against the Steelers, his numbers were awful. He proved time and time again that he wasn’t capable of changing his mechanics and this caused an early end to his football career.

So, he decided to try baseball. Tebow has tryouts scheduled with MLB teams to see if he can make it to The Show. According to CBS Sports, one former teammate thinks it’s a good idea. Or at least he thinks it’s for the best Tebow seems to have given up on the NFL.

David Anderson, a former Broncos wide receiver, stated that Tebow is the worst pro quarterback he has ever seen.

“Say what you want about his rah-rah speeches … but you’re a professional football player,” Anderson said. “I’m here, I have mouths to feed. I don’t need a-come-to-Jesus meeting in the huddle. I need you to give me the play and let’s get out there and let’s see what the defense is doing. I don’t need all this rah-rah talk, and that got shut down early.”

Let’s remember Anderson played with QBs like Matt Leinart, Sage Rosenfels, John Beck and David Carr. But when asked by FOX radio host Jonas Knox if Tebow was the worst, Anderson responded “uh, yes.”

It’s not crazy to think Tebow is the worst that Anderson has ever played with, because he is probably one of the worst ever.

So, best of luck to Tebow as he tries to pursue baseball, but his football career is over and rightfully so.
