Brandon Ingram is tailor made for basketball
You’ve seen Carmelo Anthony pretend to be a wax figure of himself, you’ve seen Kyrie Irving dressed up as an old man, and you’ve even seen Chris Paul as an insurance agent. However, prepare to be truly amazed by Los Angeles Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram.
The rookie swingman may have just signed his rookie deal on Tuesday, but he is putting that money to good use. Ingram ventured down to Venice Beach dressed to the nines and GQ was there to capture the whole thing.

But let’s not overlook the fact that this was all done while wearing a tailored suit. Suits are not naturally comfortable, especially those of the slim-fitting nature. Secondly, when playing basketball most players opt to have as little as possible on their arms.

Yet, the extra layers have no hamper on Ingram’s game as he is able to get to the rim at will and even DUNK, while seemingly not breaking a sweat or wrinkling the fine menswear. He even at one point taunts another member of the game by using his 9’1.5″ standing reach to keep the ball away from the shorter player–cold-blooded Brandon.
