Honestly the contents of this post shouldn’t really be a surprise. After all, perhaps the most famous moment of the career of Greivis Vasquez is when he broke out a shimmy in the playoffs while playing for the Toronto Raptors.

Honestly, that is one of the best shimmies in the history of the NBA. So it really shouldn’t be a surprise that Vasquez is a really, really good dancer.

I’m not entirely sure why Vasquez is out dancing in the middle of the sidewalk in Maryland but

sure, why not? He is a hero in College Park thanks to some heroics in college, so I guess he can dance wherever he wants at this point.

It also is easy to see how Vasquez has survived in the NBA despite limited athleticism. With footwork like that, Vasquez has no issue maneuvering around a pick and leaving a defender stuck behind him.

It is nice to see Vasquez so happy after a really tough year last year in Milwaukee due to injury. That injured ankle does seem to be doing better though, as the dancing shows. Now he just needs to find a way to add the shimmy to the dance. That is a way to really make it his own.
