The Cleveland Browns will take on the Washington Redskins in Week 4 action.

The Washington Redskins might be the defending NFC East champions, but if they want to win back-to-back titles, they need to string together a few wins. Facing the Cleveland Browns this weekend may help solve that problem.

Washington got their first win of the season last week against the New York Giants, and it was badly needed. Quarterback Kirk Cousins had his best game to date this season, throwing for nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns — and more importantly, zero interceptions.

The Redskins knew how important that game was, and they played like a desperate team, and with good reason. A loss would have put them at 0-3 on the year and 0-2 in divisional play. Skins cornerback Greg Toler knew that this game was the biggest regular season game Washington had played in some time.

"”We needed to get that first win bad,” said cornerback Greg Toler, who played most of the game after starter Bashaud Breeland hurt an ankle early. ”We couldn’t lose the first three, and we hung in there and got some real contributions from everybody. You get everyone stepping up. The coaches treat all of us the same, coaches us up whether first- or second- or third- or fourth-string like we are starters.”"

While Washington finally got win number one, the Browns are still searching for it.

Cleveland fell to 0-3 on the season after falling to the Miami Dolphins, 30-24. The Browns had a chance to win the game on the final play of regulation, however, Cody Parkey missed a 46 yard attempt as the clock hit all zeros. It was Parkey’s third miss on the afternoon.

Just because the Browns are 0-3, Washington can’t afford to take them lightly.

Las Vegas odds makers have Washington listed as a 9.5 point favorite, with the over/under number set at 45.5.

Cleveland played well the past two weeks, and could have easily beaten Baltimore and Miami. Actually one could argue that they should have won each of those games. Yet the Browns find new and creatives ways to lose on a weekly basis.

Washington hasn’t played well this season themselves but they should get by the Browns at home this Sunday. However 9.5 points is a lot for a struggling team to lay. The Browns may be 0-3 on the season, but they are 2-1 ATS.
