Rookies in all professional sports have it tough. Some are forced to dress up in weird outfits while others are made to sing their college fight songs in the meeting room. For the Sacramento Kings things are a bit nicer. Omri Casspi decided to help out his rookies with some new backpacks so that they can get their personal belongings wherever they need them. Unfortunately, not all the rookies seem to appreciate Casspi’s gift.

That is Skal Labissiere who does really not appreciate his bag which seems strange. Frozen is incredibly popular, so Casspi probably worked really hard to find that bag. Labissiere really should be thanking his veteran.

On the other hand, Malachi Richardson and Georgios Papagiannis seem to be ok with their bags. Papagiannis looks regal with his Finding Dory bag, so I understand that. Richardson meanwhile got the Minions bag which is clearly the coolest. The Minions are great, so it makes sense to be happy over that.

Hopefully the players keep the bags all throughout the year. It will always been fun to see NBA players rock kids backpacks throughout an NBA season. It would also lead to some great stories considering Skal’s face. Just imagine him trying to explain how it ended up left at the Popeyes in the Atlanta airport or something. We need this to happen.
