Steelers’ Antonio Brown celebrated a touchdown against the Chiefs and his dance moves have been fined.

Roger Goodell strikes again. After scoring a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide out celebrated with some awesome dance moves — only to be fined.

According to Adam Schefter, the NFL has fined Brown just under $25,000 for his celebration against the Chiefs, which is slightly absurd.

There’s a reason why fans are beginning to refer to the NFL as the ‘No Fun League’ and this is a prime example.

In case you haven’t seen Brown’s seemingly harmless touchdown celebration, take a look at it below and judge for yourself if it’s deserving of a $25,000 fine.

I understand that the NFL thinks this is going against the family-friendly atmosphere of the game, but I don’t think Brown was trying to dance in a controversial fashion. Unfortunately, the league thought differently and Brown is now a little bit less wealthy.

Sure, the $25K is just pocket change to the best receiver in the league, but it’s just proving the point that the league isn’t going to let these players show their fun side and act wild after scoring a touchdown.

There was a day when touchdown celebrations were the best things to watch on Sunday — or close to it. Props used to be brought into it and a production was made. The props always got fined, but players still had much more of a free reign when it came to celebrating.

Now, if the league doesn’t like the move a player makes after scoring, whether it’s a made up dance or something else, it doesn’t hold back when setting a fine amount.

Brown won’t let this keep him down, though, and you can bet he will be back out dancing again, no matter the consequences.
