Live stream and how to watch Game 3 of the American League Division Series featuring the Boston Red Sox at Cleveland Indians on television and online on Sunday, October 9.

A few days before the start of the American League Division Series, CBS Sports commentators predicted a 3-1 win for Boston over the Red Sox in the series.

So far, the Indians haven’t given the Red Sox any opportunities to get ahead in the series as Cleveland comes off a 6-0 shutout win over the Red Sox on Friday night in Game 2 of the ALDS.

The Indians got on the board early, starting in the bottom of the second inning with a Brandon Guyer single that drove in Carlos Santana, followed quickly by a Lonnie Chisenhall three-run homer that put the Tribe up 4-0. Jason Kipnis drove in Roberto Perez in the fourth inning, and Brandon Guyer scored on a Rajal Davis sac fly in the sixth inning.

The American League Division Series takes the show on the road to Boston for Game 3 on Sunday, with the Cleveland Indians up 2-0 over the Red Sox. So far the weather has been perfect for postseason baseball, but the move to Boston means a decent chance of rain on Sunday.

The Indians have Josh Tomlin scheduled to start Sunday’s game, and the Red Sox will have Clay Buchholz on the mound. Tomlin is coming off of a 13-9 season.

His ERA is sitting at 4.40 over 174 innings. By contrast, Buchholz was 8-10 in 2016 with a 4.78 ERA in 139.1 innings of work. The big question is whether Buchholz is the best guy to rescue the Red Sox from a sweep.
