No. 6 Texas A&M heads to Tuscaloosa to face-off against their division rival, No. 1 Alabama.

Two undefeated teams are set to play some football this weekend when the upstart Texas A&M Aggies ride into Tuscaloosa for their game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Unlike last time these two teams faced off in Bryant-Denny Stadium, this game should be a close one as the No. 6 Aggies need to get a win over the No. 1 Crimson Tide in order to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.

If the Texas A&M Aggies wish to avoid being shutout like they were last time they played Alabama at home, then Texas A&M will need to stick to what has been working this season.

Here are five reasons why Texas A&M will upset Alabama.

No. 5: Texas A&M is coming into the game rested

While both Texas A&M and Alabama are undefeated, the Aggies are going into this game after having a bye week last week.

Alabama, on the other hand, is coming into the game without having any rest. The Crimson Tide have not had their first bye week of the season yet, and have pulled out victories over some tough opponents.

Texas A&M is in a good situation having had a bye the week before they play their toughest opponent on their schedule. Ultimately, the Aggies get the advantage of being the more healed team.

In fact, after suffering an injury almost a month ago, star edge rusher Myles Garrett has missed a game against South Carolina and only played pass rushing situations against Tennessee. If Texas A&M had to play Alabama last week, Garrett would not have been at full capacity. However, after taking it easy last week, Garrett is cleared for action.

Winning games in college football is tough, and having key players injured only makes winning harder. Since the Aggies face Alabama well rested, expect to see this team looking sharp and executing plays at a peak level.
