The NBA starts the fourth week of the fantasy basketball season with eight games on tap for this Monday. Some of the biggest stars in the game are on the court tonight including well-known names like Russell Westbrook and rising rookies like Joel Embiid (pictured above). “The Process” will be back in the lineup after a rest on Saturday, and he is one of the many options you can take a look at for DFS fantasy basketball. To see all the players I think you need to check out for Monday, scroll through my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

Before we get to the picks, let’s take a quick look at the overview of the schedule. The first game of the night tip off at 7:00 PM ET which is when lineups will be locked in place. That first game tips off in Indiana where the Pacers host the Magic. At 7:30, two more games tip off as Westbrook’s Thunder visit Detroit to face the Pistons and the Mavericks head to the Big Apple to face the Knicks. The two 8:00 tips are the Celtics in New Orleans and the NBATV game of the night which is the Sixers at the Rockets. At 8:30, the Spurs are hosting the Heat followed at 9:00 by the Jazz coming home to take on the Grizzlies. The final game of the night should be an interesting one as well as the Nets look to steal a win on the West Coast as they take on the red-hot L.A. Clippers. The Thunder and Magic are playing for the second day in a row while the Nets and Heat have to keep in mind that they also have a game on the schedule for tomorrow.

To help you sort through the teams in tonight’s eight games, I’ve put together my favorite fantasy plays on the next few slides in my FanDuel daily picks. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

Just a reminder that in my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub. If you have any questions or are looking for any updates as the games get closer, follow @FansidedFantasy on Twitter. I’ll also use that account to tweet out links when we add new stories to the fantasy basketball hub.

With those introductory comments aside, it’s time to get rolling with my FanDuel daily picks for Monday starting with the big-priced PGs to think about adding.
