College Football Picks Against The Spread Early November 26

College football can be a fickle beast. It is still easier to pick against the spread than the NFL, but when you pick every game, it can get tough. I had my best week of the year last week, but I still have a long way to go and not much time to do it.

More from College Football Odds

In case you don’t know what I do here, I pick every college football game of the season. Against the spread. Trust me, it’s not as easy as it sounds! I take the average of the odds from all of the Vegas casinos. I then round to the nearest half. There will be no ties here. Ties are for the other football (soccer).

This contains the picks for FBS vs. FBS games only. It is too hard to get an accurate spread on games that involve 1-AA teams.

I will assign a point value “bet” on each game, between one and five points. That way you can see just how confident I am in each pick. Look for those at the end of each line.

This is for entertainment purposes only! I cannot be responsible for you losing any of your worldly possessions (or limbs) because of my picks. These are a guideline that you can use to help you with your picks. I am a simple man. I can’t have that on my conscience.

We have our largest week of the year, with 61 games between Tuesday and Saturday this week. 12 of them are between noon and 3:30 pm eastern on Saturday. Let’s get to those picks!

Georgia Tech at Georgia(-4.5)(3): I don’t know that Georgia is the better team, even at home. Give me the Bees.

Kentucky at (11)Louisville(-26.5)(2): Too many. It wont be much of a game, but this is a rivalry. It’s tough to win by the much when pride is at stake as well. Give me Kentucky.

Kansas at Kansas State(-27.5)(4): What is this, 1999? This is too many. Kansas has plenty of momentum, so I think they keep this within about 17-21 points. Give me Kansas.

Rutgers at Maryland(-14.5)(2): This line has been all over the place lately. It likely has to deal with the status of Maryland QB Perry Hills. I think this is a shade too many though. Give me Rutgers.

(3)Michigan at (2)Ohio State(-6.5)(3): This looks like too many. Michigan State locked down the Buckeyes last week, and Michigan has a better defense. I am nervous about this because Wilton Speight may still be out. If he is, the Buckeyes likely cover easily. Still, I have a feeling Michigan is going to keep this very close. Give me Michigan.

Purdue at Indiana(-20.5)(3): The Hoosiers are as close to full strength as they will get for the rest of the year, and they need this for a bowl berth. Give me Indiana. Purdue will stay close for a half or so, but ultimately wont be able to keep up.

Illinois at Northwestern(-16.5)(3): Illinois has struggled for most of the season. I really want to put more on this, but Illinois has showed up once in the past 11 games, and this is their bowl game. Still, I just can’t pick them. Give me Northwestern.

Central Florida at South Florida(-9.5)(3): UCF has cooled down considerably since the early part of the season. I like the Bulls by double digits at home.

Virginia at Virginia Tech(-18.5)(2): The Hokies are easily the better team, but this looks high. The Georgia Tech team that beat the Hokies two weeks ago didn’t take out Virginia by this spread. Give me UVA.

Arkansas State(-5.5) at Louisiana-Lafayette(5): This is at least ten points too low. Remember, this is the team that just crushed Troy, who was widely regarded as the best team in the Sun Belt. Give me the Red Wolves.

Syracuse at Pittsburgh(-24.5)(2): I have to think that Pitt covers this with the way they have played the past two weeks. Give me Pitt.

Boston College at Wake Forest(-3.5)(4): This looks low. Very low. Give me Wake by at least double this.
