DFS Fantasy Football Picks:

Similarly to baseball, finding cheaper value players are ever so critical to the success of your DFS Fantasy Football Picks. In order to unlock the studs of the slate, you’ll need to find the bargain players that provide important salary relief. Here are my top bargain plays for week thirteen on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Jeremy Hill – CIN (RB) – DK $4300, FD $5800

Cincinnati is now win-less in their last four, and will now return home in a potential get well spot against the visiting Eagles. Jeremy Hill is an intriguing option on both DraftKings and FanDuel this week. With the injury to fellow running back, Gio Bernard, Jeremy Hill assumed a solid chunk of pass catching work, catching all six balls thrown his way last week. Rex Burkhead did cut into Hill’s usage slightly, but a portion of that occurred when Hill left the game briefly with an ankle injury. Even in one of the worst match-ups possible, Hill was still able to accrue 14.20 DK points and exceed value. He’ll now be in a more favorable spot, returning home, and with an easier rushing matchup vs. Philadelphia. If Hill can find the end zone, he should smash value.

Tyreek Hill – KC (WR) – DK $4600 FD $5800

Tyreek Hill put on a show for the world on Sunday night football, accounting for 32.50 total DraftKings points. With the absence of Jeremy Maclin, Hill has filled in nicely, and will only continue to progress in his rookie season. Recency bias will be at an all time high for Hill, but he has had a fairly safe floor of late. Jeremy Maclin has a chance to return this week, but with Hill’s emergence, I think Kansas City understands they still need to get the ball in his hands.

DraftKings Specific:

Dorial Green-Beckham – PHI (WR) – $3000

Dorial Green-Beckham is another talented young wide out, who is now getting his chance to show what he can do. After the Eagles decided to bench receiver, Nelson Agholor, Beckham was targeted a season high,10 times, in the Monday night contest vs. Green Bay. While it’s more than likely that Agholor will be returning this week, Beckham could still see an increase target share, as he’s building a strong rapport with rookie quarterback, Carson Wentz. Beckham is ridiculously cheap on DraftKings and has some sneaky tournament upside, given his red zone usage.

Colin Kaepernick – SF (QB) – $6100

Colin Kaepernick had an unreal game in Miami last week, where he fell just shy of scoring, the rare, double DK bonus. When Chip Kelly was causing havoc in Philadelphia, the chatter consisted of, “what if Chip had Kaepernick?”, well now we know. It may not lead to real game success, but the Chip Kelly offense lends itself to outrageous fantasy scoring. Even with Nick Foles, the high tempo offense allowed the Eagles’ quarterback to put up some impressive numbers. Again, Kaepernick and Foles may not even be average quarterbacks in real life, but there is no denying the production were currently seeing. Kaepernick has reached or exceed value in each of his starts this season and will now face an injury riddled Chicago defense. This isn’t the easiest spot, on the road again, in Soldier field, but Chicago is hurting big time, with the loss of Danny Trevathan and Jerrell Freeman. We’ve already seen some significant line movement in favor of San Fran, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kaepernick have another successful DFS game.

FanDuel Specific:

Theo Riddick – DET (RB) – $6500

The marquee matchup this weekend will be the game held down in the Superdome. As of now, Detroit and New Orleans has the highest total, by a large margin, at 53.5. One area to look for exposure would be in the Detroit back field with Theo Riddick. On his own, I don’t love the play, but in the context of a game that has tremendous shootout potential, I think he’s a viable option this week. Riddick’s touches can be difficult to predict as the Lions like to give rookie Dwayne Washington some run as well, but what we can predict, is a heavy workload in the passing game. The Lions are 6 point underdogs, and if they fall behind early, we can expect Matthew Stafford to use his check down in Theo Riddick.
