DFS Fantasy Football Picks: Week 14 DFS Bargain Bin

DFS Fantasy Football Bargain Picks:

Similarly to baseball, finding cheaper value players are ever so critical to the success of your DFS Fantasy Football Picks. In order to unlock the studs of the slate, you’ll need to find the bargain players that provide important salary relief. Here are my top bargain plays for week fourteen on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Ladarius Green – PIT (TE) – DK $3900 FD $5800

After a long-awaited return, Ladarius Green finally had his breakout game last week, with a stat line of 6-110-1. The former Charger is now finally at full health and is being treated so, with an increased workload. Green’s snap rate saw a huge spike last week, where he was in on 47.9% of plays. This was a huge jump considering he was in on less than 25% of the snaps or fewer, in the three weeks prior. More importantly, Green is hardly ever being asked to block. Of his total snaps, he’s run a route on 81.1%. Given Big Ben’s road splits, and Green’s small sample size, he still doesn’t have a considerably high floor, but given how Buffalo has defended the tight end this season, another 20 point game is not out of Green’s range of outcomes.

Rob Kelly – WAS (RB) – DK $4200 FD $5900

After a loss in Arizona, Washington is in desperate need of a win as they travel north to take on a division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. After his breakout game against Green Bay on national television, Rob Kelly has been somewhat quiet, only recording roughly six points in his last two games. However, you’ll notice that in each of the last two games, Washington has been trailing for nearly the entire time. Kelly is a running back that is very game script dependent. He doesn’t offer much when it comes to receiving out of the back field, and therefore, he loses snaps to the pass catching back Chris Thompson, when trailing. Kelly should see more run this week in a game that projects to have a positive game script. It’s also been reported that coach Gruden wants to get Kelly more touches.

DraftKings Specific:

Kirk Cousins – WAS (QB) – $6300

While I just touched on how the Washington running game should see an uptick of touches, Kirk Cousins is still in a very juicy spot, as well. Cousins has been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks of late, reaching or exceeding value in his last seven games. It appears as if one his favorite targets, Jordan Reed, is also on track to return Sunday. While the Eagles defense does rank highly in defensive DVOA, at 4th, this rating is somewhat inflated. After a great start to the season, they have fallen off mightily. With a secondary of mediocre players like Jalen Mills, Leodis Mckelvin, and Nolan Carroll, the Eagles need to have a productive pass rush. In their last 6 games, they’ve totaled a measly 6 sacks. If Philadelphia isn’t getting pressure on this Washington front, it could be a big day for Kirk Cousins and the Washington offense.

FanDuel Specific: 

Emmanuel Sanders – DEN (WR) – $5900

As of now, it appears as if Trevor Siemian is on track to play, therefore providing a big boost to the Denver wide outs. While Paxton Lynch may have a future in the NFL, he’s still very raw and the receivers from Denver will be happy to welcome Siemian back. Emmanuel Sanders is very cheap on FanDuel and will be in a great spot, facing the 24th ranked DVOA pass defense. After the Titans released fantasy gold mine, Perrish Cox, corner Antwon “Valentino” Blake should fill his place. Last year Blake graded out as the second worst corner back out of 118, via PFF. He managed to give up over 1000 yards in coverage (worst in the league), the second most touchdowns (8), and the most plays of 40 yards or more (6). Sanders should line up on the right side and see most of his routes against Blake. If Blake is starting, and even if he’s not, Sanders could be in blowup spot.

Cameron Brate – TB (TE) – $5600

Cameron Brate has found some tremendous chemistry with his quarterback, Jameis Winston. Brate has recorded 6 touchdowns on the year and has proven to be a useful red zone threat for the Bucs. Tampa Bay currently has the best projected team total at 26.75 points, and Brate could be in for a nice day. Brate has one of the safer floors of any tight end this week.
