Patrice Bergeron – BOS (C) – $6000

Boston will play host to the New York Islanders tonight, in a game where they are currently -185 favorites. Both the total and the line are trending in favor of Boston since they were initially released. Patrice Bergeron will be centering the first line, in addition to skating with the top power play unit. Bergeron hasn’t been able to frequent the score sheet of late, but provides one of the most consistent floors, from his ability to collect shots. Averaging 3.59 shots per game ranks as one of the highest shot producers on the slate, and given both the price and match up, he’s a tremendous value.

More from FanSided

Patric Hornqvist – PIT (W) – $6500

Patric Hornqvist is a cheap way to find yourself exposure to the red-hot, Sidney Crosby. Hornqvist plays on the first line, as well as the top power play unit with Crosby. On a large slate like tonight, it may be beneficial to spend down and find exposure to the studs through their linemates.

Cory Conacher – TB (W) – $2500

Cory Conacher makes for one of the best punt, value plays tonight. Conacher is priced at the stone minimum and is projected to skate with the third line as well as the first power play unit. In his last three game since being called up, he’s averaged .66 points per game, and 2 shots on net per game. If you’re looking to spend up elsewhere, consider Conacher, in a favorable match up, at a cheap price, and playing on the power play.

Brad Marchand – BOS (W) – $6400

I touched on the match up for the Boston Bruins earlier, and another player that warrants consideration is Brad Marchand. If you’re looking for a stack, consider Marchand and his linemate, Bergeron. Marchand is averaging 3.10 shots per game this year, and this number has actually been trending up, as he’s averaging 3.40 shots per game in the last month. Marchand will also be seeing time on the power play. This is a significant boost, as Boston will face an Islanders’ penalty kill that ranks as the 5th worst in the NHL.
