Ryan Suter – MIN (D) – $4800

Minnesota will play host to the visiting New York Islanders in tonight’s tilt, where Minnesota is a sizable, -200 favorite. Ryan Suter is an excellent option on the back-end tonight, at only $4800. Suter is averaging 28.17 minutes per game, one of the highest on the slate. Playing nearly half of the game will provide him with a better opportunity to rack up shots on goal and blocks. I’ll be using Suter as a staple in my cash games and consider him in tournaments as well.

More from FanSided

Brett Ritchie – DAL (W) – $3700

Dallas has the best projected team total, at 3.3 goals. Brett Ritchie makes for a solid bargain play, given his time on the second power play unit and the favorable match-up. Ritchie’s numbers have been trending in the right direction as off late. For the year, he’s averaged 2.20 shots on goal and 12.71 minutes per game. Both of these numbers have been trending up, as he’s averaged 2.85 shots per game, and 14.14 minutes per game in the last month.

Torey Krug – BOS (D) – $5000

Boston will head to Buffalo to take on the Sabres tonight, in a game where they are road favorites, at -135. Torey Krug has been one of the safest, and moderately priced option on defense, all year. Krug is averaging over 3 shots a game, and just under 1 block per game. Locking in a floor of roughly 2 DraftKings points is vital in cash games, and given the match-up with Buffalo (who allows 32.6 shots per game, ranking 4th most in the league) Krug makes for an appealing option on defense.

Jonathan Drouin – TB (W) – $5500

Outside of his last two outings, Drouin has been red-hot through the month of December. He’s recorded 13 points in this month, in addition to collecting 27 shots. Drouin is known for his ability to get pucks on net, and has averaged 2.93 shots per game this year.

Good luck!
