The Winnipeg Jets didn’t appreciate WWE star Brock Lesnar stepping on their logo in the locker room.

NHL teams have weird obsessions with their logos. They put them on their locker room floors and then get upset when people … step on them. It’s almost like the floor’s the worst place to put something you don’t want people to step on. It doesn’t matter who you are; if you step on a team logo, some players will get mad at you. Even if you’re the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.

The WWE star attended Monday’s Winnipeg Jets game, which saw the Jets beat the Calgary Flames 2-0. Connor Hellebuyck got a well-deserved shutout, and Dustin Byfuglien and Blake Wheeler each scored a goal. After the game, Lesnar went down the Jets locker room with his family to hang out with the players. Except the Beast Incarnate had no idea you’re not supposed to step on the logo.

While the players gave him a bit of a hard time, Lesnar clearly has no idea what they’re upset about. And really, who’s going to confront him and tell him what to do? Nobody. The Jets players seemed cool with it, as Lesnar took pictures with them. Of course, if they weren’t afraid of getting an F-5, maybe they wouldn’t have been alright with it.

Here’s a really easy solution to ensure such pandemonium and lawlessness never occurs again. Why don’t teams simply put their logo on the ceiling? The Boston Bruins have figured it out. And if Don Sweeney is intelligent enough to realize the simple solution to the problem, why can’t everyone else? If teams think these logos are so special, why put them on the floor where they can be stepped on in the first place?
