The NBA gets a big sports weekend off to a strong start with 9 games tonight for DFS fantasy basketball, so build your lineup with these FaDuel daily picks.

Tonight should be a fun Friday of DFS fantasy basketball action so get your game on and your lineup ready from a star-studded cast of characters in tonight’s nine games. With seven players on the board costing five figures, there are some great stars to choose from if you can pair them with the right sleepers. To see who I think makes sense, check out FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

More from FanDuel

We get rolling tonight at 7:00 PM ET when the Magic and Raptors start the schedule with a jump-ball in Orlando. At 7:30, the Nets host the Pacers and the Pistons welcome the Wolves to The Palace. Three more games get going at 8:00 when the Thunder host the Grizzlies, the Rockets welcome the Bulls, and the Lakers and Celtics renew their rivalry in Boston. At 9:00, the Bucks visit the banged-up Nuggets in Denver followed by the last two games of the night at 10:30 when the Blazers host the Mavericks and the Kings take on the Suns in Sacramento. Of those 18 teams, only the Rockets and Lakers are playing for the second night in a row, but there are nine teams scheduled to finish their back-to-back tomorrow: the Nuggets, Pistons, Pacers, Grizzlies, Bucks, Timberwolves, Magic, Suns, and Kings.

With so many matchups to choose from, you can find matchups you really like at almost every position and price point. Over the next few slides in our FanDuel daily picks for the day, you can find the matchups I like the most this Friday. The picks are sorted into a “high-value” slide and a “high-salary” slide for each position. Each pick is also ranked on a scale of 1-5 stars to indicate the confidence in the pick. The final slide of this post has more detail on what each level means, but the short version is that more stars means more confidence on a points-per-dollar basis.

Just one more quick note, every day the goal of this post is to provide information so that you can make your own informed decisions. I do include my personal lineup on the final slide, but my intent is not for you to copy-and-paste my lineup. Instead, I think you should customize your own lineup for yourself to get the players you like the most and will enjoy cheering for. Normally, my lineups are designed for the more predictable, lower-risk cash games instead of than the highly volatile, high-risk GPP contests.

If you find this info helpful, drop a bookmark on the fantasy basketball hub to find this kind of post about FanDuel every day along with a similar one for DraftKings. In this post, all references to fantasy points and salary refer to FanDuel scoring and salaries, but if you want to give DraftKings a try, head over to the hub and find that post for today. If you have any other questions or thoughts or are looking for any updates as the games get closer, follow @FanSidedFantasy on Twitter or you can follow my personal account @ZT_sports where I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have and help you get your lineup set.

With those pregame notes aside, let’s get right to tonight’s FanDuel daily picks.
