Nikola Jokic is already one of the best passing bigs in the NBA, and his no-look dime over his head in the Denver Nuggets’ Monday game is yet another example why.

The Denver Nuggets have a young superstar in the making in Nikola Jokic, and at only 21 years old, he’s already perhaps the best passing big in the NBA.

If you had been living under a rock for the last few months, or if you needed any more proof, take Jokic’s incredible no-look, over-the-head dime to Will Barton in Denver’s Monday night game against the Los Angeles Lakers:

In a loose ball situation, not only is Jokic able to pick the ball out of the pile and gather it, but he also has the presence of mind to sense Barton cutting to the rim and feed him the ball perfectly on point without even looking — like some kind of Jedi or something.

Seriously, Jokic may actually have eyes in the back of his head. This is almost like watching a healthy Arvydas Sabonis in his prime. Although Jokic not quite the same kind of athlete, in terms of passing ability, it’s that same kind of sensational big man dishes we remember Sabonis for.

At the half, the Nuggets had a whopping 24-point lead on the Lakers, with Jokic recording 12 points, six rebounds and two assists. Barton had a team-high 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting off the bench.

Denver is currently clinging to the eighth seed in the Western Conference, and though it will be hard-pressed to knock off either San Antonio or Golden State in the first round, at least we can (hopefully) look forward to at least four games of otherworldly passing in a playoff series.
