How you can watch the 2017 NCAA Tournament second round between the Florida State Seminoles and Xavier Musketeers

Florida State takes on Xavier in round two of the 2017 NCAA Tournament and it’s bound to be a fun one. The Seminoles have a roster primed and ready to make a deep run while Xavier is just one of those teams that step up in March. Two years ago, Xavier made a run at the Sweet 16 ranked a six seed, but last year they left early and disappointed. With this one being in Orlando Florida State should have the “home” edge, but that doesn’t mean Xavier can’t win in Florida. The last time Xavier played in Florida? 2015.

FSU will be looking to do exactly what they did in their first round matchup against a pesky Florida Gulf Coast squad. Get Jonathon Issac going and dominate the interior. The team formerly known as Dunk City didn’t do much dunking as FSU protected the rim well all night long and forced turnovers to create dunks of their own. The title of dunk city might have to be turned over to Florida State after that performance.

Up against them is a pretty confident Xavier group. They handled Maryland with ease and showed that they can still win despite an injury to starting point guard Edmond Sumner. There was a lot of concern about them going into the tournament. The only team they beat entering the conference tourney was Depaul, but they managed to knock off Butler once they got there and gave Creighton a run for their money. Xavier are definite underdogs entering the matchup against FSU, but this is March where anything can happen.
