Oregon Ducks forward Jordan Bell blocked Kansas Jayhawks center Landen Lucas from out of nowhere.

If there is a game that Oregon Ducks forward Jordan Bell has made a name for himself in the NCAA Tournament, it’s against the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday night. His fearlessness down low has sparked the Ducks to take a big lead on the No. 1 seed late in the second half.

He’s been all over the place. It hasn’t just been the big dunks either. He’s also been getting back on the defensive end and his freak athleticism is being put on display. Chase down blocks have almost become his special in the Elite Eight.

His best came late in the game, as he sprinted down the floor and swatted Kansas center Landen Lucas. Someone Bell’s size moving like that is downright terrifying and a reminder of how far his game has come.

The Jayhawks really struggled shooting the ball and when they tried to make it more simple and go inside, Bell was there as a presence. He’s been a wrecking ball out on the floor and has provided several highlights for the Ducks on the night.

Oregon came into this game with a purpose as they fell short in the Elite Eight last year. Bell knows what it’s like to almost get there. He made sure to give everything he had against Kansas and managed to get the vertical to block Lucas up high. That’s no easy task.
