Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn shared quite the emotional moment with one another at a RAW house show in Montreal on Friday

When any professional wrestling fan is asked about the greatest rivalries of the last decade, maybe 10/10 will without a doubt at some point mention Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Be it on the independent scene or now in WWE, it’s always must-watch when these two tear into each other, and it doesn’t look like the rivalry will be ending anytime soon.

Friday night at a RAW brand house show in Montreal, the rivalry continued as these two headlined the event. With them both hailing from the Quebec area in Canada, it made all the sense in the world to give these two the big stage to themselves.

After the match, with the show taking place in Quebec, things took a pretty amazing, emotional turn. When all was said and done, and the final bell sounded, Zayn took the mic to cut a promo where he praised his longtime heated rival. And maybe the best part of this? That has to be the moment where you see Owens getting openly emotional.

Some of the best moments in professional wrestling happen when the television cameras aren’t rolling, but thankfully in this day and age there are cameras everywhere no matter what. This was an amazing moment between two (real-life) best friends, and a moment signaling just how far they’ve come together since their days getting started in Canada.
