We have a bonus column for you this weekend! DraftKings are putting on a two game slate for the DraftKings FA Cup semi-final ties at Wembley, London. The four teams involved make it a really fun DFS play and so I have put together a lineup that I’ll be using in those competitions. Let’s break down these two games:

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur

This is a clash between the two teams fighting for the title. This gives this game an added dimension and could alter how the game flows. A defeat here for either team will not simply mean exiting the FA Cup but will give momentum to the opposition in the title run in.

Spurs are the best defensive team in the league and have only conceded two goals in the last six games. Chelsea on the other hand have had only one shut out in the last eight games. I’m not sure there will be a clean sheet in either game but your best bet is for Hugo Lloris (4700). He is the second cheapest and I can’t see why you would look anywhere else.

In defense Ben Davies (4300)  is the best play of this game as he is looking more and more confident in the lineup. After a shaky introduction, following Danny Rose’s injury, Davies has settled in and is contributing more to the Spurs attack. The other defender here I will be watching is Cesar Azpilicueta (3500). If he is playing as CB then I am not interested but if Alonso misses out he could be used as a LWB. In that case, he would be the best value defender on the slate.

The midfield is full of enticing options. Dele Alli (8100), Eriksen (9400) and Hazard (9100) are all smart, solid plays. They will all have high ownership and I’m not convinced there are many goals. In this game. I am going to fade these three studs to find value in the other game. The one player I will use is Eric Dier (3000). He is at a bargain price for a midfielder and has two goals in the last four.

Upfront I can’t move off Harry Kane (9700). His return from injury against Bournemouth brought a goal, an assist and 27 DraftKings points. I feel no need to fade him this weekend.

Arsenal v Man City

This game is slightly easier to predict as it represents both clubs only chance for silverware. Both teams are poor defensively so they should go at it on Sunday. They played out an attacking 2-2 draw earlier in the month and I can see a similar game here. As I mentioned earlier I’m only really interested in Lloris for the goalkeeping position.

In defense I really like a couple of options in this game. Nacho Monreal (4600) is the only consistent DraftKings scorer on Arsenal’s defense. He has put up 9+ DraftKings points in 5 of his last 9 games and has a relatively safe floor. With clean sheet bonuses unlikely I’m looking to defenders who cross the ball. The one defender I love is Jesus Navas (4800). In the previous game against Arsenal he had 6 crosses and 8 tackles for 13 DraftKings points.  He could also play in midfield giving him a huge bump to grab an assist.

Two midfielders who have very appealing price points are Leroy Sane (6400) and David Silva (6900). Both players were outstanding against Arsenal (16 & 17 DraftKings points respectively) and have seen their prices dip for this game. I love them both under $7k and will build my lineup around them.

As I am fading the big midfield three (Alli, Eriksen, Hazard) I want to feel safe with my forwards. This is why I’m paying up for Sergio Aguero (9900) who has scored in 4 games straight and makes for a very safe forward line with Kane.
