According to ticket sale data, Dallas Cowboys fans are the most eager for the upcoming season.

The schedule for the 2017-18 NFL season has just been released and fans are already eagerly scooping up tickets to see their favorite team. But which fanbase is the most eager?

That would be the Dallas Cowboys according to Vivid Seats, a ticket reseller.

It’s not unsurprising that fans of America’s Team would be the most eager for the upcoming season. Last year the fanbase had low expectations after a back injury to starting quarterback Tony Romo during the preseason. But behind the rookie duo of quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliot, the team established themselves as Super Bowl contenders.

Despite losing their first playoff game and unceremoniously ending their season earlier than fans would’ve liked, those players were rookie and optimism is high heading into their second year with a Draft ahead of them and perhaps the debut of potential defensive stud, linebacker Jaylon Smith.

The Cowboys also continue to be a big draw on the road and rank the highest in impact on visiting team price.  When the Cowboys come to town, ticket prices rise by 70 percent. The Cowboys are also the most searched NFL team on Vivid Seats.

What is surprising is that the Arizona Cardinals ranked as the second most-eager fanbase. Considered contenders a few years ago, the Cardinals finished below .500 for the first time in four seasons in 2016.

The Oakland Raiders, Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams rounded out the top five. Fans in the Bay Area must be eager to see the team while they can before a potential move to Las Vegas.

Despite the demand, none of these teams rank in the top five for highest ticket prices. The Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams also rank fourth and fifth in the top five of lowest ticket price sales. Rams ticket prices are reportedly down 67 percent over last year’s prices.

Like the Cowboys, the Packers also draw well on the road and are the third-most searched team.
