With the series tied at two a piece, the Anaheim Ducks and Edmonton Oilers square off in a pivotal Game 5 on Friday night. Here’s how you can watch online via live stream.Â
The home team in the series between the Edmonton Oilers and Anaheim Ducks has yet to win a game. In each game, the road team has won. After winning the first two games on the road, the Oilers have dropped two in a row at Roger’s Place. Anaheim will return home for Game 5 on Friday starting at 10:30 p.m. ET. They’re hoping to become the first non-road team to win a game this series.
After scoring a combined four goals in the two games, Anaheim has scored 10 in their last two. Corey Perry scored the latest one, a controversial goal in overtime in Game 4 to knot the series at two games. Captain Ryan Getzlaf has 13 points in eight playoff games and is emerging as a strong Conn Smythe candidate. Jakob Silfverberg is tied for the team lead in goals with seven and has nine points as well. John Gibson has been stopping enough shots to help his team win, though he hasn’t been outstanding with just a .911 save percentage.
On the other side of the ice, it’s gut check time for the Oilers. They could be up 3-1 in the series, but weren’t able to capitalize in Game 4. Still, Edmonton has played much better on the road during the postseason, namely this series. So not all hope is lost for them.
