Jimmy Butler has been the subject of a ton of trade rumors, and you can add the Nuggets to the list of teams pursuing the star Bulls player.

Trade rumors are starting to gain some serious speed with the NBA Draft right around the corner, and one mainstay in every rumor has been Jimmy Butler.

The star Chicago Bulls guard has been rumored in trade talks with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and plenty of other rosters throughout the league. Now, you can add the Denver Nuggets as a team looking to take Butler out of Chicago.

According to a report from ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, the Nuggets have been in talks with the Bulls about Butler, and are looking at a deal that would include a couple young players and draft picks. The only Nuggets player looked at to be safe is Nikola Jokic, and it looks like the Nuggets are willing to part ways with plenty of others to get Butler in Denver.

Butler has been one of the big names, alongside Paul George and Kristaps Porzingis, as a main target for a trade this offseason. Both Butler and George had been serious targets for the Cavaliers, but Cavaliers players reportedly told Butler to stay away from Cleveland, and he expressed his disinterest to head to the team.

Earlier in the day, the Minnesota Timberwolves were also looking into deals for Butler or George, so the Nuggets’ competition in any trade appears to be pretty stiff, and it may take some serious talent to pry Butler away.

With the NBA Draft just a few hours away, teams will be trying their hardest to put a package together to add Butler to their lineup, and the Nuggets have the 13th overall pick in this year’s draft to add to any deal the Bulls may want.
