Jimmer Fredette has unveiled new signature shoe overseas.

Look out Kevin Durant. Jimmer Fredette, yes that Jimmer Fredette, is here to stake his claim in the shoe game. The 28-year-old recently released a new signature shoe in China. Fredette, a member of the Shanghai Sharks, teamed up with Chinese shoe company 361 degrees to bring his masterpiece to life. Let’s not tip-toe around this; these shoes are gorgeous.

Although his NBA success was slim to none, playing with four teams in a five-year span, he has become a superstar in China. Ironically, Fredette managed to average 37.4 points per game in Shanghai. Now, that’s impressive for anybody, but especially Fredette, considering his 1.5 points per game in the 2015-16 NBA season. As a matter of fact, rumors surfaced during the offseason suggesting that Fredette was interested in an NBA return. However, he ultimately decided to stay put in Shanghai.

The reigning International MVP signed a two-year deal to remain with the Sharks. Despite playing all the way in China, these shoes will sell all over the world. The former BYU stand-out grabbed attention with his incredible shooting ability in college, but had seemingly fell off at the professional level. He has now resurfaced as resilient as ever in China and the world should be grateful.

Fredette has now gifted the basketball world with some of the most fire shoes. Ever. Let’s not neglect the simple beauty of Fredette’s logo, either. You can have your KD’s, your LeBron’s, your Curry’s, I’ll take my Jimmer’s. Although the 2011 No. 10 overall pick did not gift the NBA with a return in 2017-18, he has made up for it with these new shoes. Who knows, maybe he’s waiting for the right time to take the world by storm, just as he did with his new sneakers.
