The Green Bay Packers will look to get back on the winning track in Week 3, as they travel to Cincinnati to take on the 0-2 Bengals.

Not only did the Green Bay Packers lose their game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 2, but they also lost a couple key pieces to their roster. Wide receivers Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson both got nicked up in the game, as well as star defensive player Mike Daniels. To add insult to injury, the Packers were drubbed in a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship Game, so they will be fired up in this one.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is one of the best in the game, and he should have plenty of time to throw against the Cincinnati Bengals. Incredibly, the Bengals are one of the worst teams in the NFL this season, and failed to score a touchdown in both of their home games to start the season. Now, they have to go on the road and play the Packers, which will prove to be too much on Sunday.

Andy Dalton has struggled this season, and fans are clamoring for the team to sign Colin Kaepernick. While I do not believe that will happen, he needs to figure it out quickly. The Packers do not have a great secondary, and with first round pick John Ross back in the fold,  the Bengals may be able to throw against them. The Bengals have to find the end zone, or they may end up being a historically bad offense.

Betting Odds

Point spread: Cincinnati (+8.0)
Over/Under: 44.5

The Packers are a big favorite in this game, and they absolutely deserve to be. The over/under is only set at 44.5, which basically means the Bengals are not going to score many points in this one. The line and over/under has changed a lot since opening, so check out sportsbookreview.com for up-to-date numbers prior to kick off.

Prediction

This game might get out of hand on Sunday, as the Packers will be fired up after losing so badly in primetime against the Atlanta Falcons. They did suffer a bunch of injuries against Atlanta, but they are the far superior team in this matchup. The Bengals are lost this season, and it could mean the end for head coach Marvin Lewis.

Final Score: Packers 30, Bengals 13
