He only had one catch on Monday night in the Washington Redskins 27-10 win over the Oakland Raiders, but it was a special one. Doctson scored on a 52-yard catch where he lept over the defender to grab the ball before strolling into the end zone.

It was Doctson’s since first touchdown of his career, and only his first catch this season.

Now, while a one catch game isn’t usually something to be excited about, this will have done wonders for Doctson’s confidence and will potentially have put him in line for more targets and involvement moving forward.

While running back Chris Thompson (last week’s top waiver wire suggestion) has dominated in the receiving game so far, there is room for someone to break out here whether it’s Pryor, Crowder or Doctson and the second-year man has just a good chance as any if he continues to make plays like he did on Monday night.
