Jazz at Timberwolves live stream: How to watch online

The Utah Jazz take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in an early season matchup you won’t want to miss. Here’s how to watch.

The revamped Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to protect their home court against Utah Friday night and earn their first win of the season. This summer the team added All-Star Jimmy Butler, as well as solid role players Jeff Teague, Jamal Crawford, and Taj Gibson. Adding to an already interesting team with young stars Karl Anthony-Towns and Andrew Wiggins, the Timberwolves are looking strong showing in this year’s tough Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Jazz saw All-Star Gordon Hayward leave this season to join the Boston Celtics. The team is known for their overwhelming defense and will still be a top team in that category, but will need to find other options to score this season with Hayward gone. The found an incredible play-maker over the offseason in Ricky Rubio,  but still need to find someone to finish the chances he creates. Rodney Hood, Alec Burks, and rookie Donovan Mitchell might be up to the task. Rudy Gobert will continue to lock down the defense with his incredible rim protection, but on the offensive side, he still doesn’t offer much.

This matchup will be interesting as it seems to be a high-powered offense in the Timberwolves, going against a high-powered defense in the Jazz. Minnesota coach Tom Thibodeau is known for his defensive schemes, but the team just doesn’t seem to have the defensive talent that his former teams were able to boast. The Jazz went up against on the league’s most efficient offenses in their opener against the Denver Nuggets and were able to hold them to just 13 points in the fourth quarter, taking the lead and winning by double-digits.

Minnesota will be looking to overpower that defense with the All-Star scorers, and Utah will do everything they can to shut them down instead. The game will not be nationally televised, but you can watch on NBA League Pass, Fubo TV or on a locally televised station.
