Record predictions for every NBA team
Washington Wizards (Projected Record: 47-35)
Last year the Wizards won 49 games, while putting up the point differential of a 46 win team. They made barely any changes this offseason to their roster, nothing of significant note, and most of their players are close enough to their prime that there don’t figure to be huge changes in their performances based on improvement or age related decline.
John Wall and Bradley Beal both project to be roughly top 35 players, as has been the case for several years now. Otto Porter figures to land somewhere in the top 50, based on his ability to space the floor and defend at a high level.
Markieff Morris, Marcin Gortat, and Ian Mahinmi all project fairly well, but the rest of the Wizards rotation leaves much to be desired, which is why despite all the young talent they have in their starting lineup, they still don’t figure to crack 50 wins in the crummy East.

Should Beal or Porter make an additional leap or should Kelly Oubre morph into what the Wizards hoped he might become when they drafted him, Washington might have some chance of winning 50 plus games, but all of those things seem like remote possibilities at this point.
