Oregon State enters play at a terrible 1-8 (0-6) record on the season. This program is rudderless and might be the worst team in the Power 5. That being said, Oregon State could be an appealing job for anybody that wants to coach the Beavers next season. It is a very low entry point, but a program that can get back to good quickly. Playing in a competitive Pac-12 North could get the most out of this lost team. It just needs the right coach going forward.
Arizona enters play at 6-3 (4-2) on the season. The Wildcats were briefly ranked in the top 25, but fell out of the rankings due to a loss to the division rival USC Trojans last week. Arizona has the right guy at quarterback in Khalil Tate. He is a transformative player and could be a Heisman finalist next season for the 2018 Wildcats.
