While his career in the NFL might be over, former Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel is opening up about the demons that have plagued him in recent years.

Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel was a first round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, and many expected he would have a successful career. However, his off-the-field issues ran him out of the league, and nobody seems willing to give him another chance. Recently, Manziel sat down with Good Morning America and talked about his bipolar diagnosis and the steps he’s taking to turn his life around

Staying with the quarterbacks, the San Francisco 49ers knew they found a good one when they traded for Jimmy Garoppolo at the trade deadline. Last week, the 49ers paid him back for his five wins, as they gave him the most expensive contract in NFL history. Garoppolo has proven to be a legitimate quarterback during his short NFL career, but he will need to do more than win regular season games if he wants to be worth his current contract.

During his time as quarterback’s coach for the Philadelphia Eagles, John DeFilippo made Carson Wentz an elite player and helped Nick Foles win a Super Bowl. Now, DeFilippo will be expected to bring his genius to Minnesota, as he signed on to be the team’s new offensive coordinator. DeFilippo will replace Pat Shurmur, who is currently the head coach of the New York Giants, and the odds are he will be able to excel in his new role with the Vikings.

DeFilippo’s offensive coordinator with the Eagles was Frank Reich, who is also leaving the Super Bowl champions this offseason. Reich signed on to be the new head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, who were left hanging out to dry by Josh McDaniels last week. Reich once orchestrated the biggest comeback in playoff history, and the organization is likely hoping he can revitalize an organization that won only three games last season.

In other AFC South news, the Jacksonville Jaguars will have a new look next season. Jacksonville will don new uniforms, and while they have yet to be announced, they are certain to be sharp.

The runner-up in the AFC will also no longer have tarps on the upper deck, as the organization hopes their recent success turns into better attendance at games. This is a team on the rise, and with talent on both sides of the ball, they could be a contender in the AFC for years to come.
