The Duke Blue Devils face the Iona Gaels in the 2018 NCAA Tournament on Thursday, March 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Year after year, the Duke Blue Devils are a major part of March Madness. They are consistently in the fold and, more often than not, they are looked upon as a contender to win it all. That’s the case for the Blue Devils this year once again. However, if they’re going to make it to the Final Four, it’ll all start in the First Round on Thursday, March 15 as they take on the Iona Gaels in a 2-15 matchup.

There is talent galore when it comes to this Duke team. That starts with Marvin Bagley III, who has an argument as the most dominant player in the country. He truly can come through and score, rebound and defend virtually anyone in the country. When you then factor in the likes of Grayson Allen, Wendell Carter and even Trevon Duvall, this Blue Devils team is a monster.

As for Iona, they aren’t a powerhouse by any means. If they are to topple Duke, they’re going to need a historically great performance from guard Rickey McGill. The Gaels go as the star guard goes, and he’ll need to lead the way if there’s going to be an upset on Thursday afternoon.

Details for Thursday’s game are below:

At their best, this Duke team has the talent to be cutting down the nets in San Antonio when the 2018 NCAA Tournament has come to a close. With that said, they haven’t played to their potential at all times this season. Could that mean an upset bid by Iona? Who knows, but it’ll be worth tuning in to find it out.
