The Texas Longhorns face the Nevada Wolf Pack in the 2018 NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 16, and here’s all the info you need to watch online.

With the arrival of Mohamed Bamba, the Texas Longhorns came into the college basketball season with big hopes. Yet Shaka Smart’s team struggled with consistency throughout the year and is now lucky to have made it into the 2018 NCAA Tournament as a 10-seed. Now they’ll have a tough battle right away on Friday in the First Round as they face off with a dangerous Nevada Wolf Pack squad.

Bamba has really come into his own over the last part of the season and will look to make a huge impact on this game. The touted freshman can’t do it all by himself, though. He and Texas will need the likes of Dylan Osetkowski and Matt Coleman to aid him in the cause, not only feeding him and helping him out, but contributing in their own right as well.

As for Nevada, they are led by Caleb Martin and Cody Martin, a pair of forwards who have been great all season in leading them to a 27-7 overall record. The Wolf Pack played some of their best basketball near the end of the year, despite two losses to San Diego State in their last three games. They have the talent, however, to topple the lower-seeded Longhorns in this First Round matchup.

There are no doubt going to be contrasting styles on the floor between Texas and Nevada on Friday. And obviously that means that whichever team controls the game better will have the upper-hand. Having said that, seeing the two styles clash is exactly the type of fun and excitement that the NCAA Tournament is built on.
