Now that the Sweet Sixteen is set for the NCAA Tournament, I can’t help but think about some juicy potential Final Four matchups I want to see.

Four days of college basketball to start the NCAA Tournament has certainly lived up to March Madness expectations. For the first time, we saw a No. 16 seed beat a No. 1 seed when UMBC shocked Virginia, the No. 1 overall seed in the Big Dance. We also saw Arizona, a team I picked to win it all, lose by 21 to Buffalo in the first round and that was just a start of the upsets we saw in the first two rounds.

Loyola is Cinderella with two buzzer-beater wins over Miami and Tennessee to make the Sweet Sixteen in their first tournament appearance since 1985. We also saw No. 1 Xavier, No. 2 Cincinnati, No 2 North Carolina, No. 3 Michigan State, No. 3 Tennessee, no. 4 Wichita State and No. 4 Auburn fall in the first weekend.

That means we’re going to have an exciting Sweet Sixteen on our hands because it seems like every team has a chance this year. There are a lot of good teams, but it looks like there may not be one dominant, clear-cut team destined to win it all.

That’s what I can’t help myself when I dream of these potential Final Four matchups we could see.
