The Winnipeg Jets and the Vegas Golden Knights will face off in the Western Conference Final of the NHL Playoffs. Here’s a list of where and when the games shall be played.

On Thursday night, the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Nashville Predators by a final score of 5-1 in Game 7 of their second-round series. Strong performances from Connor Hellebuyck, Paul Stastny and Mark Scheifele — who set a postseason record for road goals in a single series — was the central avenue through which the Jets walked away with a massive victory at Bridgestone Arena. They’ll now face the Vegas Golden Knights in the Western Conference Final.

The series promises to be one for the books, as neither team was favored to make it this far at the outset of the 2017-18 NHL campaign.

The Golden Knights shall look to make the most of their Cinderella story, as they nudge closer to eyeing hockey’s most esteemed prize — Lord Stanley’s trophy. Having mastered the art of combining committee-based scoring with an increasingly impressive blue line, Vegas’ passing game is what sets them apart from other teams. With Marc-Andre Fleury looking more and more like a Conn Smythe favorite with each matchup, the Golden Knights seem to have all of their ground covered. The only question, therefore, is a matter of finesse — does Vegas actually have what it takes to top one of the most offensively sound units in North American sport? Expect the team’s misfits stars — Fleury, William Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, James Neal, etc. — to translate a dream for the ages into a shocking reality.

Likewise, the Jets will look to make the most of an opportunity for the ages. Their lineup is among the best in the NHL, as a Vezina Trophy candidate in the form of Hellebuyck, coupled with a depth-ridden offense and a fairly solid blue line leaves little room for the errors of opponents. Scheifele, Blake Wheeler and Dustin Byfuglien are especially unique in their ability to marry inspirational leadership with elite two-way sense. And make no mistake: Patrik Laine has proven that he is the elite goal-scorer of the future. As such, look for Winnipeg to spoil any dreams of a Hollywood take on the Golden Knights’ playoff run.
