Here at Fastbreak Breakfast we release an episode or two every week no matter what. It doesn’t matter if there has been a particularly humorous or interesting NBA story or not. But sometimes, the national events so perfectly align that we feel like Bruce Wayne seeing the Bat-Signal, personally summoned to address them.

And so, the convergence of 1) sports betting being legalized, 2) LeBron James being on the ropes, and 3) the Grizzlies falling in the lottery (with subsequent blithering quote from GM Chris Wallace) has fallen squarely into our wheelhouse.

So enjoy a cinnamon roll or coffee cake and cue up this fresh new episode and be confident that for at least once we will be talking about something we know.

Some of the various other topics covered:

  • Was the lottery order the most just result possible?
  • Can anyone figure out the Eastern Conference? Were the Bucks better than we thought? And maybe the Pacers weren’t that good? And now maybe the Sixers actually were pretty good again?
  • Can the Celtics beat the Cavaliers on the road?
  • Why exactly did Cleveland get rid of Dwyane Wade again?
  • Mike Budenholzer had breakfast with the stars of the Bucks and was announced as Milwaukee’s head coach shortly after. Breakfast remains the most important thing.

Fastbreak Breakfast episodes are also available for download on iTunes and Soundcloud.
