You can watch the Preakness Stakes Saturday on TV wherever picks up NBC and NBCSN.

Everyone makes a big deal about cord-cutters and streaming options. And it’s great! You can watch the 2018 Preakness Stakes online, through the NBC Sports app or through free trials with cable-substitute subscription services like FuboTV. But, honestly, watching on an actual TV is still pretty great and those who will be tuning in to see Justify go for the middle jewel in the Triple Crown will want to tune the dial to NBC.

Technically, Preakness coverage begins on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) at 2:30 p.m. ET with pre-race (and undercard race) coverage. Then, the festivities begin on NBC at 5:00 p.m. ET, with a post-time for the Preakness race itself as 6:20 p.m. ET.

Kentucky Derby winner Justify is the favorite with 5-2 odds to take the middle jewel in his quest for the Triple Crown but his Derby runner-up Good Magic (7-2) and new names Quip (16-1) and Diamond King (16-1) will do their damnedest to make it a close race. Keep an eye on the long shots, too. While the top three had few surprises at the Derby, an 85-1 underdog coming in fourth paid out big on the superfecta bet.
