After missing the previous six games with a knee injury, the Golden State Warriors will be getting Andre Iguodala back for Game 3 of the 2018 NBA Finals.

He’s back. After missing six games prior due to a knee injury, Andre Iguodala is back to join the Warriors in Cleveland for Game 3 of the 2018 NBA Finals on Wednesday night.

This just adds another threat for the Cavaliers to have to guard, making their nearly insurmountable two-game deficit even more unattainable — at least according to the experts.

While the aging Iguodala isn’t the same player he was in the 2013-15 postseasons with the Warriors when he was averaging over 10 points per game, he’s still effective in his new role. He’s a solid role player who can do a little of everything from scoring the ball, to rebounding to making smart passes and defending.

Cleveland has been dubbed a team with ‘no help’ surrounding LeBron James and with the Warriors adding another quality piece, that mantra won’t die any time soon.

Iguodala is averaging 7.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals this postseason while shooting about 48 percent from the floor. He’s going to take some pressure off the wings, adding plenty of playoff experience as well.

James will have to put together another performance like the one he had in Game 1 when he dropped 51 points on the Warriors in an overtime loss if the Cavaliers are going to steal Game 3 and draw within one in the series.

Game 3 will be a big one for Cleveland and many believe the days of James with the Cavaliers are numbered, especially if they get swept in the NBA Finals, losing for the second straight season and three of the past four.

The 34-year-old Iguodala brings toughness to the lineup which will be needed in a hostile environment, so you can bet the Warriors will be glad to have him back.
