Voting for the 2018 WNBA All-Star game began Tuesday June 19th. I have been busy selecting my favorite WNBA players all week, now I want to encourage you to do the same.

Voting ends at Midnight on July 12, 2018 (11:59:59 PM ET).  So hurry up and start casting your votes now!

All-Star rosters will be revealed on Thursday, July 19th.

The 2018 All-Star Game will be held on July 28 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tip-off time is 3:30pm ET.

NEW  GAME FORMAT

This year the All-Star Game will feature a new format much like the NBA of letting the fans elect two captains. The captains, along with the head coaches, will choose their teams from a pool of 20 other All-Stars.

The voting for the other 20 players will breakdown as followed:

1. Fans (40%)

2. Current WNBA players (20%)

3. Head Coaches (20%)

4. A national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters (20%)

HOW TO VOTE

There are four ways fans can vote to see their favorite WNBA Players in the 2018 All-Star Game. You may vote for a maximum of 10 players each day.

  • WNBA.COM – Click the link to see an alphabetical list of WNBA players. Choose up to 10 players then hit submit. You will have to fill out your name, email address, and date of birth and prove that you are not a robot, but don’t worry, Deckard isn’t the one asking the questions.
  • WNBA APP –  If you haven’t checked out the WNBA APP for your phone I suggest downloading it and giving it a try. Not only can you vote for your favorite players for the 2018 All-Star game but you can also keep up to date with all the latest news, check out daily stats, and watch highlights. Or you can watch the games live on demand with a WNBA League Pass Subscription.
  • Twitter – You can vote for your favorite WNBA players by tweeting hashtag – #WNBAVOTE with the first and last name of the player or their Twitter handle. This is the fastest and my preferred way of voting. While you’re on Twitter go ahead and follow me @Whelan_ej for more WNBA articles and DFS advice.
  • Facebook – Mark Zuckerberg probably already knows who your favorite WNBA players are, but you will still have to post a status update or comment on another post with your favorite player, their first and last name and the hashtag – #WNBAVOTE
