DraftKings PGA: A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier Classic Pivot Plays
DraftKings PGA: A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier
Perfect Roster
It was a solid for our pivots! Leishman, Rodgers and Spaun made the cut and Spaun gave you tremendous value. Let’s continue the good run. Here is your perfect lineup for the Quicken Loans National along with ownership:

Francesco Molinari | 10600 | 144 | 13.9% |
Sung Kang | 7300 | 107.5 | 1.0% |
Ryan Armour | 7500 | 105.5 | 6.2% |
Ryan Palmer | 7500 | 102.5 | 1.0% |
Beau Hossler | 9300 | 100 | 16.6% |
Abraham Ancer | 6600 | 91 | 3.0% |
$48800 | 650.5 | 41.7% |

How can this information help you for the Greenbrier Classic? It helps you to know what golfers will be chalk this week (recency bias) and it shows that winning GPP lineups almost always require 2 or 3 pivot plays. If you want more information about last week’s Quicken Loans National, click here!
Greenbrier Classic – Popular Golfers
It is impossible to predict the chalk plays each week with certainty, but here are a few golfers that I (and the DrafKings PGA community) believe will garner high ownership.
Bubba Watson $11200
Charles Howell III $9300
JB Holmes $9000
Brian Gay $8100
Andrew Putnam $7800
Brandon Harkins $7100

$10,400 Russell Henley
Henley has made 4 straight cuts, he just finished T6 at the Travelers 2 weeks ago, and he has finished 5th the past two times he played The Greenbrier. Based on his past performance, he should be owned at a staggering clip. However, a Stars-and-Scrubs build will be popular due to how weak the field is, and paying mid 10K for the 47th ranked golfer in the world is excessive.

$8,200 Jamie Lovemark
Lovemark will be under-owned this week because his +12 final round at Quicken Loans National in singed in everyone’s memory bank. Plus he is sitting next to hotter than Hades Brian Gay and Andrew Putnam. The +12 is an anomaly. Watch for Lovemark to put forth a solid showing at the same course he finished 3rd at in 2017. At single digit ownership I love Lovemark’s upside
$8,000 Kevin Kisner
Kisner is not playing particularly well, but he is a world-class golfer. The guy has 7 top 20’s this year, but after a stretch of poor golf everyone is off of him. 2015 Kevin Kisner finished T2 and -13, so he has shown he can pop at this course. I fully expect Kisner’s ownership below 5%, which is ridiculous for a guy with his pedigree.
$7,200 Rory Sabbatini
There is a reason why this guy made 15 straight cuts earlier this season. Now, after 2 cuts we will see ownership fall below 5%. I am staying on! Sabbatini ranks out great in my model and he finished T14 here last year. Let’s hope Sabb’s doesn’t burn me for the 3rd week in a row.
