Indiana Pacers

Last year sure was something for the Pacers, eh? They were supposed to flail without Paul George. Instead, Victor Oladipo proved himself to be a star, and they came incredibly close to taking down LeBron James in the first round. So, what do they do for an encore?

Well, it certainly feels like this team got better. Adding Tyreke Evans was a smart move, as he’s coming off a career year in Memphis, and appears to have finally harnessed his considerable talents. Kyle O’Quinn was a more quiet addition, but he’s long been the kind of guy you want to have in your locker room. Finally, the Pacers boast two talented young centers in Myles Turner and Donatas Sabonis. There’s…a lot to like here.

The Pacers went toe-to-toe with LeBron and almost won. This team is better than that team. This team has what it takes to make a deep playoff run, and put some serious into the Raptors and Celtics.
