John Hugar has been a diehard Grizzlies fan since the days of Bryant "Big Country" Reeves. Watching the Grizzlies upset the Spurs in the first round of the 2011 playoffs was one of the formative moments of his life. John has written about the NBA for websites such as The Step Back, Vice Sports, and Dime Magazine, and would love to one day cover a Memphis Grizzlies championship. His hobbies include record collecting and trying to fry the perfect pork chop. In 2013, he wore a Quincy Pondexter shirt to a Flaming Lips concert.
