Philadelphia 76ers

I kinda hate talking about injury questions when writing these because it’s so obvious, but with the Sixers, it bears mentioning that the health of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons is precarious and incredibly important. That being said, we saw how far they can go when both are healthy, and it was quite impressive. Now, we face two more questions:

A. Will they get even better this season?
B. What about Markelle Fultz?

The buzz is that Fultz’s broken jump shot is fixed again, and his case of the yips has been cured. If that’s case, the Eastern Conference better look out. Let’s consider the how beautiful it might be to see Futz and Simmons dropping dimes at the same time. This could be some of this most gorgeous, ethereal basketball we’ve ever seen! It would also stand to win about 60 games.

I’m hesitant to put the Sixers over the Raptors and Celtics, because we know how young and fragile they are. But if everything comes together for Philly, the Finals are within the realm of possibility.
