It doesn’t take long for a promising season to get flipped on its head. Here’s how every NBA team’s 2018-19 campaign could be a disaster.

With the new NBA season just a few weeks away, every fan base is looking for reasons to be optimistic in 2018-19, and many have quite a bit to cheer about. That being said, an NBA season can turn bad very quickly, and every team in the league has a worst-case scenario that they’re fans are desperately hoping won’t come to pass. With that in mind, let’s look at how all 30 teams could crash-and-burn this season.

Orlando Magic: Too young to function

After six miserable years since the Dwight Howard trade, believing in this team feels like a trap. That being said, they do have some impressive young talent, specifically, the wingspan-laden frontcourt duo of Jonathan Isaac and Mo Bamba, who each could evolve into defensive studs. That being said, there’s a frightening lack of experience on this team, and that could elad to yet another season of suffering for Magic fans. Isaac and Bamba could evolve into something great, but this season will see them take their respective lumps, and the team’s win total will suffer for it.
