Atlanta Hawks: The rookie point guard curse

Whether or not it was wise to take Trae Young of Luka Doncic will likely be determined over the next five years or even longer, and our hot takes about it could prove to look quite foolish. That being said, rookie point guards have been struggling a lot lately, and the Hawks figure to lean on Young quite a bit this year. If the speed of the NBA throws him off, and he can’t adjust right away, this could be a long season for a team desperately lacking in leadership.
