Phoenix Suns: The vets are too old; the youngins are too young

The Suns are proof that tanking does work, as their miserable season directly led to them taking Deandre Ayton with the top pick in the draft. Ayton is an undeniably alluring pick, but the question facing Phoenix is if the new talent can gel with the old. They brought in Trevor Ariza and Ryan Anderson as mentors to their young potential stars, but we don’t now how much either has left in the tank. If the old vets can no longer contribute on a regular basis, while the new guys are still a year way, this could be another long, miserable year in Phoenix.
