Here’s everything you need to know about the 2018 Camellia Bowl between Georgia Southern and Eastern Michigan, including how to stream online.

The fourth of five bowl games on Saturday, Dec. 15 is the Camellia Bowl played in Montgomery AL. between Georgia Southern and Eastern Michigan at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Eastern Michigan comes into the game having won four of the last five games to get eligible for a bowl and have a little bit of momentum behind them for this game. Meanwhile, Georgia Southern has won two straight after suffering back-to-back losses in early November that took them out of the Sun Belt race.

It would appear Georgia Southern is back on track and they’ll look to rely on their triple option offensive attack that averaged 260.8 yards per game against an Eastern Michigan defense that allowed 192.9 yards per game on the ground.

Quarterback Shai Werts leads the team with 13 rushing touchdowns while running back Wesley Fields leads the team with 959 yards and has nine scores of his own. While Werts hasn’t been asked to throw too often in this offense, he does have 10 touchdowns and has yet to throw an interception. Eastern Michigan will have to be on guard for the occasional pass that could catch the defense out of position.

Neither defense is particularly imposing, but Eastern Michigan could benefit from having two weeks to game plan and prepare for the option.

Expect Georgia Southern to score their fair share of points, but Eastern Michigan counters with quarterback Tyler Wiegers who has thrown for 1,887 yards and 11 touchdowns to three interceptions this year and senior running back Shaq Vann who has run for a career-high 590 yards and matched his career-high with five touchdowns.

Basically, if you love watching the ground games dictate the game, you’ll want to tune in for the entirety of the Camellia Bowl on Saturday.
