There’s gonna be plenty of basketball to watch in March Madness over the next few weeks, so let’s talk serious business: the 64 must have foods for the tournament.

Food and sports go together like the turkey and Thanksgiving, and March Madness is no exception. With 63 elimination games heading our way over the next three weeks, hoops fans will spend a lot of time watching the action, and they will be consuming plenty of goodies.

Picking your sports viewing snacks is no laughing matter, and the wrong selections can take you from hero to zero with your buddies. Luckily for you, we’ve done the hard work for you and identified the 64 essential foods to have at your March Madness viewing parties.

Since food is such a widely diverse topic, we have taken the liberty of breaking down the 64 top foods into four distinct regions: appetizers, chips and dips, main dishes, and sweets. There’s something for everyone here, so let’s not waste any time and dive right in with our first region, the ever popular appetizer section.
