There is no suckier feeling in the world when you have victory ripped from your fingertips. This Auburn fan experienced that pain the hard way.

This Auburn fan experienced some embarrassing premature celebration.

Auburn was within 1.7 seconds of their first National Championship Game and the victory looked to be a certainty that one Tigers fan poured a beer over his head in celebration.

The only problem is Virginia was fouled attempting a three and Kyle Guy sunk all three free throws to give the Cavs a one-point win and send Auburn home losers.

As if the loss wasn’t embarrassing enough and painful enough that it will linger in the minds of Auburn fans for decades. The poor sap gave himself a Miller Lite shampoo treatment so that’s not gonna be good for his hair. And then, he got a police escort out of there and was arrested. His biggest crime was wasting that beer that probably cost as much as a down payment on a new Toyota Camry.

This is nothing that should have resulted in the Auburn fan being arrested because the punishment he’s receiving on Twitter for this party foul is much worse than sitting in the drunk tank at U.S. Bank Stadium ever could be.

As far as premature celebrations go, this has to be one of the worst. Too bad, he’ll never hear the end of it either from his friends and family and random strangers on the Internet.
