Here are three reasons Virginia will beat Texas Tech to win the National Championship.

We’ve finally made it through another year of March Madness. Once again every single game was time well spent watching with family and friends. The 2019 edition lived up to the hype of it’s name. The madness hasn’t ended, even though we’re into April and on the brink of the National Championship game.

This year the Virginia Cavaliers will take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The consensus seems to be this will be an ugly game, but there’s still plenty to keep fans interested. First of all, neither program has ever won, or even been to, a championship game.

Although Virginia has two NIT titles to its name, 2019 will be the first time they will have a shot at becoming National Champions. This game will feature a first time winner with either outcome. We wanted to give you some reasons why Virginia will win their first ever appearance other than being one of the No.1 ranked teams coming into the tournament.

What makes this team so dangerous in the first place? We all know Kyle Guy can shoot the daylights out of the ball and Ty Gerome is just as equally as dangerous. We could focus on all the scrutiny that came out of the Auburn game but we want to shift our focus in this article to what truly makes this team great for college basketball.

With only three losses in the regular season, Virginia was poised all season long as a National Championship sleeper, if a No. 1-ranked team can qualify as a sleeper. Virginia has a legitimate shot at taking down the Red Raiders of Texas.
